Honda continues road testing of the new generation of the CR-V crossover. The day before, the car was again spotted during tests. The Japanese are preparing the premiere of the novelty by the second half of 2022.
The prototypes caught in the lenses of the photo spies are no different from those that were captured earlier. The bodies of the cars are still hidden by dense camouflage, but even this does not interfere with assessing their proportions. So, the next CR-V will have a long hood, as well as a more sloping glass in the rear door and tapered head optics.
In addition, the crossover can borrow some design solutions from its “younger” brother HR-V, which has recently changed a generation. At least the interiors of both models should be similar in style and equipment: with a digital instrument panel and a large display of the multimedia system.
There will be two options for the salons: five- and seven-seater.
The engine lineup for the new 2022 Honda CR-V is expected to include a hybrid gasoline-electric powertrain as well as an all-electric powertrain.
