Lexus has officially unveiled the new generation Lexus NX in Chicago. The crossover has moved to a new platform and received a more modern design. Sales of new items in the US will start soon.
The new generation Lexus NX will differ from its predecessor with redesigned headlights, an upgraded radiator grille and more massive bumpers. In addition, the car received other LED taillights, which are now combined into a monoblock.
The new generation Lexus NX has a redesigned front panel with a large multimedia touchscreen, a digital dashboard and a new climate control unit.
The Cross will be available in several versions: the NX 260 with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated unit, the NX 350h with a hybrid drive and the NX 450h + rechargeable. There will also be a version of the NX 350 – with a 2.4-liter turbo engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The new generation Lexus NX has an anti-collision system, intelligent cruise control, all-round cameras, adaptive suspension and a panoramic sunroof.
The new Lexus NX will hit global markets during 2021. A more precise date will be announced later.
