Several weeks remain until the premiere of the new Mercedes-AMG SL convertible, but we already know what the car will look like. The car was spotted the day before during a commercial filming in Spain.
Judging by the photos taken by the spy shots, the front of the new Mercedes-AMG SL will resemble the “charged” versions of the A-Class and CLS with similar headlights, a similar shape of the bumper and radiator grille. As for the stern, this part of the body will receive triangular elongated lights, like the C-Class.
Some information about the technical side of the car has already been disclosed. According to the French edition “Automobile-Magazine”, the 2-door will be converted from a 2-seater roadster with a hardtop to a convertible with a fabric top and a 2 + 2 seating formula. The car will receive 4Matic + all-wheel drive, and its engine range will consist of 4, 6- and 8-cylinder units of various degrees of electrification.
The exact dates of the premiere of the new Mercedes-AMG SL have not yet been announced, but, most likely, the novelty will be presented at the September Munich Motor Show. However, it is possible that the debut of the model will take place later, since the previously announced list of new products that Mercedes-Benz is preparing for this exhibition does not include a convertible.
