The second generation compact MPV Mercedes-Benz Citan, presented just a few days ago, has already received a travel version.
The debut of a miniature “motor home” based on the Mercedes-Benz Citan took place at an exhibition called D? sseldorf Caravan Salon. The sectional furniture produced by VanEssa helped turn this car into a camper.
Thanks to the VanEssa sectional modules, the second generation Mercedes-Benz Citan can be easily converted into a small camper with a kitchen and full sleeping places for 2 people. The kitchen is based on a drawer system: there is a gas stove, a sink with a 13-liter water tank, and a small refrigerator. In addition, the kitchen has ample storage space for crockery. The entire unit weighs approximately 60 kg and is assembled in a few minutes.
The sleeping place in the Mercedes-Benz Citan was organized according to the same principle. The bed can be stowed away in the trunk and, if necessary, folded out in just a few simple steps, taking up all the space right down to the front seats. Its dimensions are 115 by 189 cm.
