Overall length of the vehicle in comparison with the predecessor grew by 39 mm, up to 4939 mm, and the width is increased by 7 mm up to 2010 mm. Wheelbase stretched to 2935 mm (+20 mm), but it still turned out to be 60mm shorter than the standard GLE of the new generation.
As for the exterior, it is one of the main changes was the more sloping roof line, giving the crossover more similar to the coupe. In addition, the predecessor of the GLE Coupe can be distinguished due to the more prominent radiator grille, upgraded led head lights and tapered rear lights.
The interior is virtually identical to the inner space of the normal GLE. Both units are paired with a nine-storyed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
In addition, together with the standard model debuted “charged” AMG version of the index 53. This crossover is equipped with power plant, operating on a “soft hybrid” (mild hybrid). Three-liter gasoline inline-twin-turbo “six” work along with a 22-strong starter-generator powered by 48-volt on-Board power supply. The car is able to dial first “hundred” for 5,3 with a maximum speed electronically limited 250 km per hour.
