The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder arrives at dealerships in the US and Canada this summer.

“The launch of the new Pathfinder marks another milestone in our Nissan NEXT story. The Smyrna plant team is thrilled to present the latest version of this iconic vehicle, ”says Jeff Yanginer, Vice President, Nissan Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant.

Recall that the novelty differs from the predecessor in a modified radiator grille, revised headlights, as well as a more streamlined roof line. The fifth door received a distinctive angular design and a large Pathfinder lettering.

The interior of the new generation of the SUV is distinguished by the presence of wireless charging for a smartphone, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a Bose audio system with 13 speakers, all-round cameras and a navigator. In the basic version, the crossover has 10 airbags, emergency braking systems in front of an obstacle and warning about leaving the occupied lane, as well as the function of monitoring the “blind” zones.

Under the hood of the new Nissan Pathfinder, a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated power unit is installed, the output of which is 284 horsepower. A 9-speed automatic transmission works in conjunction with the engine.

Customers will be able to choose from a completely new intelligent all-wheel drive system that offers no less than seven different modes for both on-road and off-road driving. In addition, the new Nissan Pathfinder can tow loads up to 2.7 tons.

Details of pricing for the new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder will be announced in the coming weeks.
