Infiniti will unveil the production version of the second generation QX60 crossover on June 23, 2021. This was reported by a Japanese company.
The start of car sales is scheduled for this fall. First, the novelty will be available in the USA and Canada, and then it will go to the markets of other countries.
The technical characteristics of the crossover are no longer a secret – the novelty will be equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine with a return of 283 horsepower. A total of five driving modes will be available to the driver: “Standard”, “Economy”, “Snow”, “Sport” and “Individual”.
The unit will work in conjunction with a nine-speed automatic transmission and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, which will be more compact and more technologically advanced than its predecessor’s transmission. Infiniti assures that electronics will not only be able to react to various driving situations, but also anticipate them.
In addition, the car will receive an advanced semi-automatic control system ProPilot Assist from Nissan. Artificial intelligence, as noted by the manufacturers, orients itself in space and analyzes data coming from a complex of video cameras and sensors, as well as from a navigation system. Infiniti added that the electronics now control the brakes more smoothly and the steering intervention is more natural.
The dynamic characteristics of the car have not yet been announced. As for the design of the novelty, it will repeat the concept of the same name, which debuted last year.
