The Slovenian company Tushek presented the “world’s lightest” hypercar

The Slovenian company Tushek presented hypercar TS 900 H Apex, which the developers call the lightest car in its segment. Weight amounted to 1410 pounds. For example, the mass of the recently debuted Lotus Evija equal to 1680 kg, and SF90 Ferrari Stradale weighs 1570 pounds.

Tushek TS 900 H Apex is made on the basis of ultra-light tubular chassis of chrome-molybdenum steel and the body made of composite materials. Feature of car steel special door type guillotine, as well as a removable roof, the dismantling of which the machine becomes “tarsu”.

Novelty is driven by a hybrid power plant, created on the basis of a 4.2-litre V8 engine mounted in the rear. The internal combustion engine works together with two electric motors. In sum, the unit gives 963 HP and 1400 N·m of torque.

Tushek TS 900 H Apex is capable of accelerating from standstill to first “hundred” for 2,5 seconds. and its maximum speed reached 380 km per hour.

Public premiere of the hypercar will be held in London in early September, 2019. Prices for a novelty are not yet known.
