The smallest sportsedan Mercedes got the extended version

Mercedes-AMG introduced a long-wheelbase modification of the model A35 Sedan – the smallest of “charged” sedan of the German mark. Premiere of the car took place at the Shanghai motor show.

The wheelbase of the car is increased by 60 mm – 2729 2789 to millimeters. This allowed us to add some free space in the area of the rear passengers feet.

Mercedes-AMG A35L equipped with the same two-liter four-cylinder supercharged engine developing 306 HP and 400 N·m of torque. The engine is paired with seven-speed robotized gearbox with two clutches and four-wheel drive system 4Matic.

Sedan capable of accelerating from standstill to first “hundred” for 4,9 seconds. and its maximum speed force is electronically limited to 250 km per hour. In normal conditions the torque is transmitted to the front wheels, but if necessary, traction can be distributed between axles in a ratio of 50:50.

Mercedes-AMG A35L received the information-entertainment complex MBUX, where the touch display multimedia combined with a fully digital dashboard, which in particular provides information about the dynamic overloads and the motor.

Sedan will be produced in China in a joint venture of Daimler and BAIC local firms. The engines will be supplied from factory in the German town of kölleda.
