Three-row Buick Envision GX: Toyota Highlander’s answer

Photos of the three-row performance of the Buick Envision GX crossover have been published on the Web. The official debut of the novelty will take place at the China Auto Show next month.

Buick is gradually expanding its crossover lineup, in particular by introducing a longer wheelbase version of the GX for existing models, which may offer a third row of seats. The most recent Buick to receive this version is the Envision, which has been posted online ahead of its official debut.

The new 2022 model looks almost identical to its 2021 counterpart.

The version of the crossover with three rows of seats received a slightly different front panel, including an enlarged false radiator grille and bumper. There is a metal strip that connects the headlights to the grille.

The three-row version of the model has a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine that produces 237 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The transmission is a GM nine-speed automatic transmission.

Although this model is due to be unveiled in April at the Shanghai Auto Show (China), it is already known that the new crossover will be sold in both the Chinese market and the US market.

If true, this means the Envision GX will sit above the regular Buick Envision and Encore GX in the brand’s current lineup.
