Toyota recently presented its development in the field of compact mobility. This is not a car, but a scooter with an electric propulsion system, security systems and a name that looks more like a formula from a physics textbook. Meet C + walk T.
The scooter has three wheels and the following dimensions: 700 mm in length, 450 mm in width and 1210 mm in height. The weight is in the region of 30 kg, while it can carry a person weighing up to 100 kg. The electric motor is powered by a 10.8 Ah lithium-ion battery. The range is 14 km, while the energy reserves can be replenished in just 2.5 hours.
C + walk T is not intended for high-speed movement from point “A” to point “B”, but rather for walking – the maximum speed is limited to 10 km / h, that is, it is slightly faster than the average pedestrian speed. The scooter has accelerator and brake switches, a reverse button and a digital instrument panel that displays charge level, travel speed and more.
The model is equipped with sensors for detecting obstacles, including pedestrians, and the electronic assistant helps to avoid a collision. In addition, the tricycle gives sound and light warnings, and if necessary, it can reduce the speed to 2 km / h. The scooter will also slow down when driving on a slope if its steepness is unsafe.
