After was presented to the Japanese luxury van Lexus LM at the Shanghai motor show, parent company Toyota has announced another new model. It’s called the Toyota Granvia and is based on a completely new platform in Turkey. 8-seater luxury MPV will arrive in Australia in the fourth quarter of 2019 and will be focused on corporate and family buyers.
Granvia got seats premium eight seats, a full set of security features Toyota’s Safety Sense and rear suspension with four link in the spring-for “excellent driving comfort and stable handling”.
New luxury MPV will be offered only with a single turbo-diesel engine, displacement and power is yet unknown.
The Japanese brand says the new powerplant is improved and became more economical.
Granvia will be available in two configuration, and the list of equipment will include leather upholstery with accents, sliding side door with electric adjustment and driver’s seat with electric adjustment and seat of the second row. The van will also offer multimedia system of the latest generation Toyota with four USB ports and 12 speakers.
As for security, both versions of the new items include nine airbags, active cruise control and security system pre-collision (PCS) with detection of pedestrians and cyclists in daylight and also other driver assistance features.
