Toyota has brought the next generation of the Land Cruiser SUV to most markets. The car with a generation change has undergone minor design changes and differs from its predecessor only in certain details. But, as it turned out, initially the new SUV should have been different. It was planned to be rewarded with a futuristic look and sensory interior.
Early sketches of the initial version of the Land Cruiser 300 have been published by the Toyota Global Office. In some images, the LC300 is shown with an unusual front and rear design, as well as a massive hexagonal radiator grille, square optics and developed wheel arches.
In general, as you can see in the pictures, the “300th” was supposed to look completely different than it turned out to be, having received a design in the style of the fifth generation Toyota RAV4.
The interior was planned to be modernized even more seriously. Initially, additional touch panels were designed for the SUV, located under the display of the multimedia system. As a result, the designers abandoned this decision (most likely due to practicality).
