The European division of Toyota has decided not to lag behind from their competitors in the face of Volkswagen, BMW and Nissan, presenting today the new simplified logo.
As seen in the image, now the logo has lost registration with the company name. It explained its self-sufficiency, as the nameplate around the world. The image is simplified by eliminating from the three-dimensional effect created by the shadows, now the icon has a simple, two-dimensional design, which, according to the company, will be relevant for modern cars, and future cars, among which will be electric vehicles and drones.
“The new logo will be applied in all fields of business Corporation, Toyota, the current version of the logo is to remain relevant to the vehicles manufactured by the company. Rebranding of dealerships in the near future will not happen, but it is planned in the framework of the development strategy of the brand until 2025”, – the report says Toyota Motor Europe.
The new logo showed the company Nissan. Formed following the trend, the Japanese brand has refused a three-dimensional emblems: it was two-dimensional and lost horizontal lines in the middle. The first model, which will be new signboards, the electric car will become Ariya.
Earlier, the same way of simplifying chose Volkswagen and BMW: both companies have changed logos on the two-dimensional, made in a minimalist style.
