Toyota has released two fresh videos of its upcoming flagship Land Cruiser. The LC300 reveals the design of the taillights and also reveals a little more of its muscular front fascia.
Toyota does not declassify any technical details about the updated generation Land Cruiser. Most of them have already appeared on the Internet. In social networks, documents belonging to the South African representative office of the brand were released. They reveal key facts such as the TNGA-F platform and the 10-speed automatic transmission.
The LC300 will catch the downsizing error by ditching the thirsty V8 petrol and diesel engines in favor of a much more efficient V6 with extra power. If the recent leaks are correct, the turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 will get a healthy 409 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. The 3.3-liter diesel will produce 302 hp and 700 Nm.
In addition to a new base, transmission and engines, the next generation Land Cruiser will feature a redesigned interior to keep pace with the times.
Toyota is introducing the GR Sport performance with more aggressive styling to join the luxury-focused trim level. The two will share high-tech features ranging from a portion of the camera under the bottom of the 3D Multi-Terrain Monitor system and head-up display to 4-zone climate control and a 14-speaker JBL sound system. The 12.3-inch infotainment system was also mentioned in internal corporate documents.
Toyota Middle East will broadcast the world premiere of the new Land Cruiser live on June 9th.
