Toyota announced the start of spare parts production for the A80 generation Supra, which was produced from 1993 to 2002. As part of the GR Heritage Parts project, original headlights are already available for order, and other rare parts will be available in the future.
Reprinted headlights on the Toyota Supra A80 cost 132,000 yen each. Later, the Gazoo Racing division will establish the production of door handles and brake booster for the A80, as well as the propeller shaft, fuel level sensor, seals and a front nameplate for the Toyota Supra A70, which was produced from 1986 to 1993. Later, the re-release of rare parts for Toyota 2000GT (1967-1970) will begin.
The company is ready to expand the original list of parts upon customer request To do this, there is a form on the ToyotaGazooRacing.com website in the GR Heritage section where owners of older Supras can indicate which parts should be included in the range.
This is not the first such initiative. Mazda, for example, is already making parts for the iconic Miata, with an extensive assortment of 42 items, from end caps to body panels. Nissan, in turn, produces components for the RB26DETT engine, which was installed on the Skyline of the R32, R33 and R34 generations.
