Toyota Land Cruiser 70 has been produced and sold in the Australian market for 37 years.

Toyota plans to update one of its oldest models currently on sale, the Land Cruiser 70. This car has been in production for 37 years and is still in demand in the Australian market. Some improvements are planned for the Land Cruiser 70 during 2022. According to Motoring, the 2022 model year car will have an increased payload and will also become safer. There are no details about the innovations yet.

Recall that in Australia the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 model is available with a 4.5-liter V8 diesel unit with a capacity of 205 hp, which is paired with a manual transmission. Prices for the car start at 67.4 thousand Australian dollars, and the range of the model is represented by a three-or five-door SUV, as well as a pickup with a one-row or two-row cab.

The Land Cruiser 70 received the last update literally in 2020: then the pickup got a not very modern multimedia that does not work with Apple Carplay and Android Auto applications and does not support digital radio, but has a 6.1-inch color screen. At the same time, two USB ports in the front, one 12V outlet, and an additional cup holder for the passenger were added to the list of car equipment.
