A new version of Hyundai Staria is presented – a school minibus based on the Staria minivan.
The Hyundai Staria Kinder, as the model name suggests, is a school bus based on Staria Load, the eleven-seat cargo version of the Staria passenger bus. This is a Hyundai service car designed to transport children from A to B in South Korea.
Staria Kinder can accommodate 11 to 15 students. Hyundai accommodates the limited size of Staria Kinder’s main passengers and gives each seat a height-adjustable seat belt. Hyundai also equips the Staria school bus with nearly every safety system available on the bus, including Fordward Collision Avoidance, Lane Departure Avoidance, Lane Keeping Assist, and Rear Cross Collision Avoidance.
The minibus, as standard, includes a double set of warning lights on the roof, as well as a folding sign warning other road users about the presence of valuable cargo at the entrance and exit of passengers. In all cases, Staria Kinder Load has a 3.5 V6 under the hood, which, in addition to gasoline, can consume liquefied gas. An 11-seater Staria Kinder costs 25,150 euros in South Korea. Hyundai asks for 27,050 euros for the 15-seat variant.
