There is a queue for Toyota Tundra. The off-road version of TRD turned out to be the most coveted.
The new Toyota Tundra 2022 has proven to be very popular. The pickups are snapping up like hot cakes, and the assembly plant is struggling to meet high demand due to a lack of microchips. This is reported by the Carsdirect website.
The first cars will arrive at car dealerships only from December, but there are already queues for them. The fact is that pre-orders for the Toyota Tundra pickup have been accepted since September, and there have already been several tens of thousands of them. This is despite the fact that the model has risen in price by almost $ 2,000 compared to its predecessor – prices start at $ 35,950.
Even those who ordered Toyota Tundra 2022 in September will have to wait for their cars from 4 to 9 months, depending on the configuration. That’s if they opted for the standard 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 394 hp. with. and 10-speed automatic transmission.
But for a special off-road version of the Toyota Tundra TRD, the queue has already reached one and a half years. Such a pickup truck is equipped with a 443-horsepower hybrid plant (a 3.5-liter six is supplemented by an electric motor), and also received a reinforced suspension, 18-inch tires with deep tread and metal underbody protection.
