The new flagship SUV Toyota Land Cruiser, which received an index of 300 after the generation change, has replenished the fleet of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) police. The patrol SUV is painted in the corporate colors of the local police and received a special livery. Also Toyota Land Cruiser 300 got flashing beacons and a speakerphone system.
Toyota unveiled the Land Cruiser 300 just a few weeks ago. In the UAE, orders for the new product are already open. The car is built on the new TNGA architecture, which is gradually being adopted by all models of the brand. At the same time, the Land Cruiser retained its basic frame structure.
The all-wheel drive SUV is equipped with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. The power of the unit is 415 horsepower. Also, customers will be offered a diesel modification of the SUV with a 3.3-liter engine producing 309 horsepower. Both motors work in conjunction with a 10-speed “automatic”.
Not so long ago, the Dubai police received the GV80 crossover, which was delivered to local law enforcement agencies by one of the official dealers of the premium Hyundai sub-brand. The crossover has received the signature white and green body paint used by the Dubai police. The technical characteristics of the car were not named, but it can be assumed that the police received the GV80 in a top-end modification. It is a crossover with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine developing 379 horsepower.
