Bugatti has begun delivering the Baby II two-seater for children. The first owner of the Vitesse model was the operator of one of the terminals for private aircraft at Al Maktoum Airport, Jetex. The car will be used as a transfer for VIP passengers, says Carscoops.
This piece was built to order: made from carbon fiber, painted in Jetex Orange, equipped with retro-style LED headlights and brake lights. The interior has been fitted with leather seats.
The cost of this Bugatti Baby II was 71 thousand euros. The 250-kilogram car is powered by a 13-horsepower electric motor: the maximum speed is 70 kilometers per hour, and the Baby II accelerates from zero to 60 kilometers per hour in six seconds.
More budget options with less powerful motors are available for ordering. For example, a Baby II with a 1.4 power engine will cost 30 thousand euros, the Vitesse version without additional equipment and painting in the original shade – 43.5 thousand euros, and the Pur Sang modification – 58.5 thousand euros.
Despite the fact that the Baby II was originally designed for children, some customers intend to use them for other purposes. In addition to the Jetex operator, such a car was acquired by a Belgian collector, in whose garage there is already an original Bugatti Type 35 and a rare Bugatti Baby of the first generation of 1927. He opted for a Nocturne Black version with Terre D’or leather interior.
