Models have refreshed the design, expanded equipment and added a new motor.

The Brazilian division of Fiat has presented a restyled version of the Fiat Toro, a one-color pickup truck that has been producing for Latin America since 2016. In some markets, a monocoque truck that shares a Small Wide 4×4 platform with the Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade is marketed as the Ram 1000.

For the 2022 model year, Toro received updated diode lighting and fresh sets of 16-18-inch alloy wheels. Like the younger Strada pickup, which survived a full generational change a year ago, the large Fiat lettering now flaunts on the grille.

A modern multimedia system was installed in the salon. In the top-end version, it has a vertical 10.1-inch touchscreen – in the spirit of the Ram 1500, simpler configurations come with monitors of seven and 8.4 inches with horizontal orientation. At the same time, there is already a seven-inch virtual device in the basic equipment.

Another important new addition is the 1.3-liter turbo engine that runs on gasoline and ethanol and develops 185 hp. and 270 Nm. Like the E-Torq Flex 1.8 before it, it only mates with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. At the same time, a two-liter Multijet turbodiesel (170 hp and 350 Nm) with a nine-band automatic and all-wheel drive remained in the lineup.

In Brazil, the updated Fiat Toro is already available for order in Endurance, Freedom, Volcano, Ranch and Ultra versions.

Although it is definitely an unfinished replica, I would be interested in contact details, anyway. Maybe this could be an interesting project.
