The Korean Car Blog has published new photos of the interior of the updated Hyundai Palisade. Global changes are not visible on them, but you can better consider a slightly different set of buttons on the center console and an enlarged screen of the media system. The debut of the restyled crossover is scheduled for the second quarter of 2022. Models are predicting a new “turbo four” 2.5 instead of the “aspirated” V6 3.8, an expanded list of electronic assistants and other interior materials.
At home, the Hyundai Palisade has been on sale since 2018 and is offered with three engines to choose from. The petrol “aspirated” V6 3.5 and V6 3.8 are tuned to deliver 277 and 295 horsepower, the 2.2 CRDi diesel has 200 “horses” in its arsenal. The units can only be combined with an eight-band automatic machine. The drive can be front or full HTRAC. In Ukraine, Hyundai Palisade is available at a price of $ 55,100.
What changes await the crossover after restyling is still unknown. Probably, the front end – the headlights and the radiator grill – as well as the interior will change slightly. The crossover is being tipped with an expanded list of electronic assistants and better finishing materials. The engine range may include a 2.5 T-GDI turbo engine of the Smartstream family, which will continue to be combined with an eight-band automatic.
The Big Palisade is one of Hyundai’s most successful models. In the United States, a crossover with an initial price of $ 33,150 for 11 months of 2021 sold 79,657 units. Demand is so high that the manufacturer is considering relocating the Palisades production to a facility in Alabama, which already makes Tucson, Santa Fe and Santa Cruz.
