The premiere of the KIA Seltos crossover took place in 2019, and now it’s time for its planned restyling. The Australian press has found out when to wait for the debut of the updated Korean SUV.
According to the publication CarsGuide, the reformed Seltos on the Green Continent will be presented in the second half of 2022. This suggests that the presentation of the model in Korea will take place several months earlier. There are no photos of the updated crossover yet, and not only spy photos, but even teasers, so we can only guess how the car will look.
According to Australian journalists, the main changes in the exterior of the restyled Seltos will take place in the front part of the body, which can be remade in the manner of the new generation of KIA Sportage. If this turns out to be true, then the crossover is waiting for the appearance of at least other bumpers and a radiator grille, and in the cabin of a digital instrument cluster.
Technical changes to the Australian Seltos may affect the performance of the 1.6-liter turbo four, which is rumored to increase from 177 to 199 horsepower. However, it is too early to say that the aggregate update will take place in all markets where the SUV is represented.
