Updated KIA Stinger bared buttocks

Large exhaust pipes hint at the more powerful engines in the future.

Although doubts about the future of the KIA Stinger and the possibility of any model of the second generation exist, the current version is preparing for the restyling. There is not much time before the updated KIA Stinger will officially appear on the market, but before that we have time to consider some changes in design with new spy photos, in particular, with a completely clear image of the rear of the Stinger.

Among the changes – lighting system, which now stretches across the entire width of the body. New item visually makes Stinger wider than the previous model, which had a more traditional, separate rear lights. Nameplates Stinger also increased in size and is now located in the middle of the body, where once was the logo of KIA. Something similar was observed in the new Volkswagen GTI.

Revised diffuser looks more aggressive than before, and has a mesh inset. In addition, it is difficult not to notice the Quartet is quite impressive exhaust ports, hinting at a greater capacity. It is quite appropriate, as updated Stinger will be more productive than before, with a 2.5-liter turbo engine, 304 horsepower, which is expected to replace the existing 2.0-liter turbo engine capacity of 255 HP

In the photo – a more powerful version of the GT with a 3.3-liter V6 engine. Here, it is reported that the power gains will be more modest, with 365 HP to 373 HP, partly thanks to revised ECU settings. It also received another image of the headlights of the new Stinger, although it did not disclose anything, except for revised schedules and the use of full led clusters.

In the cabin, there are fewer changes in the form of a large 10.25-inch touch screen and digital instrument panel, although these components may be offered as an option. Updated Stinger, whose debut is expected in a few weeks, it seems, will remain one of the most attractive sports sedans.
