Skoda continues to fuel interest in the updated Kodiaq, which is scheduled to premiere on April 13th. Exactly a week before the debut, the Czech brand published a video teaser, which showed the details of the new product: front and rear optics of a new form, body sidewalls and rims.
Up front, the updated Kodiaq will receive a “more effective” design, they promise in Skoda. The SUV will differ from its predecessor with a new hexagonal radiator grille, which is located almost vertically.
Under the narrowed headlights, there are separate diode modules, and the rear lights with a complicated pattern, retaining the corporate C-shaped motif. Also on the teaser, the embossed sidewalls with door handles that seem narrower, and the wheels with a revised design are highlighted.
At the end of March, Skoda unveiled design sketches for the restyled Kodiaq. On them the shape of the optics is fully disclosed, including foglights of a different shape, and a wider front air intake, framed on the sides by L-shaped inserts.
The premiere of the updated Kodiaq will take place on April 13 in the format of an online event. Today, in the Ukrainian market, the pre-reform crossover is available at a price of $ 30,300 to $ 44,700.
