Updated Skoda Karoq

The compact crossover Skoda Karoq, released in the spring of 2017 to replace the Yeti, is ripe for a planned restyling. We have watched prototype tests since last summer, and today the manufacturer himself announced that the premiere of the updated model will take place on November 30 in the format of an online event.

For Skoda, this is a very important update, because according to the results of the entire 2020 and the first half of 2021, it was Karok that was its most popular SUV, and in the overall standings it was second only to Octavia in sales volume. To date, the Czech brand has produced over half a million units of this model, and it needs Karoq to remain competitive in the future.

Judging by the spy shots, the update will affect the grille and bumpers. The graphics of the taillights should change, and the main headlights, as expected, can be performed using matrix technology – like the older Kodiaq, which has undergone a restyling this spring and has already entered the Ukrainian market. You can also count on the usual in such cases revision of the range of color options and fresh design of rims. The cabin should receive the latest version of the infotainment complex, while its touchscreen will remain approximately the same as it is now.
