Updated sportbuike Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade

The 2022 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade sports bike has received a series of improvements and updates, although it is still based on the same bike.

Japanese engineers tweaked the motor to improve acceleration at mid-range. Peak power remained unchanged at 214 hp. (160 kW) at 14,500 rpm. Redesigned the intake ports, airbox and ducts, and the mid-section to improve mid-range performance without overall loss. In addition, the chain sprocket has been replaced, which now has 43 teeth instead of 40.

On the electronics side, the Japanese have updated the traction control algorithms to better manage the rear wheel grip and improve throttle feedback. Nissin brake calipers are made of a new material that should improve braking performance, especially in times of extreme heat. The rest of the chassis, meanwhile, hasn’t changed.

Basic version comes with Showa suspension and electronically controlled damper. The motorcycle weighs 201 kg with all fluids. LCD tidy allows you to customize maps, engine braking, traction control, wheelie control, start control, corner ABS.

So far, nothing about the price and start date of deliveries. The price tag will probably not change much.
