Updated Volkswagen Tiguan again caught in the lens of photospies, and this time completely devoid of camouflage.
The restyled Volkswagen Tiguan 2021 model year was again seen on the tests, but this time without any camouflage. Spy shots have been published on the portal “Carscoops.com”. It seems that the front bumper is borrowed from the sports version of the R-Line, but the rear bumper with a pair of faux exhaust tips are among the more affordable equipment. Of course, the most significant changes are the new headlamps received from the Golf 8.
The designers of the Volkswagen revised the front grille, which was wider at the bottom and has a chrome frame, creating a visual link with the headlights and the top. Also the prototype was slightly updated VW logo presented in 2019. The shape of the rear lights is likely to remain the same, but new graphics will be inspired by the rear lights of the Golf 8. In addition, the model name was moved to the center of the door in the back, right under the VW badge to follow a trend that began several years ago with Arteon.
With regards to the interior, the updated Tiguan will be a new option on the climate control that has recently been seen in the restyled Arteon 2021 model year. This prototype, judging by the pictures, has not received updated infotainment system, which eliminates the 2 rotary knobs and labels on the right side. Steering wheel design is also a sign for the Golf 8.
