Passions after the Hungarian Grand Prix, which took place the day before, still do not subside. The race ended at about 18:00. And already 3 hours later, information appeared about the possible disqualification of Vettel.

Everyone saw that after the finish the German could not get to the closed park and stopped his car right on the track. Even then, the first thoughts about a possible problem appeared. The thing is that, according to the regulations, after the end of the race, at least 1 liter of fuel must remain in the car when the car arrives at a closed park.

However, in the case of the Aston Martin car, there was no such amount. And according to the regulations, this is a disqualification. This decision was made in the federation. Aston Martin has already filed a protest – most likely, it says about the non-standard course of the race with a red flag and difficult conditions. However, this is unlikely to be an argument.

Moreover, several laps were initially held in safety car mode, which increased fuel economy.

Most likely, Vettel and Aston Martin are losing important 18 points. Now the team rolls back sharply in the fight against Alpin and Alpha Tauri, and the German himself drops out of the TOP-10. This played into the hands of Lewis Hamilton, who pulled away even more from Max Verstappen. Also note “Williams”, which gets 10 points in total for 7th and 8th places.
