The owner of the newly delivered 2021 Tesla Model S has appeared on the YouTube channel MrExitStrategy. The Long Range car, worth more than $ 100,000, had a lot of factory sores – from damaged paintwork and defective seals to a shaking outside rearview mirror and creaking doors. Despite all the problems with the assembly of the electric car, the owner admitted that he remains a fan of Tesla products.

In early 2021, Tesla introduced the updated Model S. The electric car has slightly changed on the outside, got an unusual steering wheel instead of the traditional steering wheel, and also became more powerful, long-range and more expensive. The restyled Model S is already shipping to customers, and the first customers have questions about the build quality.

Among those who drew attention to the low-quality assembly of the updated Model S was the author of the YouTube channel MrExitStrategy. The electric car, which was delivered to him, was found to have numerous factory “jambs”.

For example, he found scratches on the body of a new car; drew attention to creaking doors and various noises in the cabin while driving. I paid special attention to rubber seals, which look as if this part is not new, but “used”. While driving, one of the exterior mirrors shakes dangerously, the air conditioner whistles when operating at maximum revs, and spots of unknown origin are visible on the dashboard.

It is not yet known how widespread the problems with the assembly of the updated Model S are. The author of the video clarifies that he had a chance to ride another model, Model Y, and he did not find such an abundance of “jambs” on her. The blogger also added that despite the marriage, he remains a fan of Tesla electric cars.
