The VF e35 is designed as a rival to the Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen ID.4 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. It features a contemporary exterior design developed by Pininfarina, highlighted by split headlights and a full-size LED strip.
The VF e35 has silver trim on the side skirts and is mounted on multi-spoke black and silver rims. The rear complements the panel with LED taillights and an LED strip that is also V-shaped like the front.
The interior of the VF e35 houses a huge 15.4-inch infotainment screen, and like the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, the VF e35 lacks a dashboard. The SUV is also equipped with 14 cameras, LiDAR sensors and 19 360-degree sensors for Level 3 autonomous driving.
Specifications have not been released, but it is speculated that it will be offered in one and two 201 hp configurations. and 402 hp. respectively. It should be enough for 459 km with a standard battery and 499 km with a larger battery.
As for the larger VF e36, it competes with the Tesla Model X and is similar in size to the BMW X7. It is powered by a 402 hp twin-engine unit. and is powered by a 106 kWh battery. It will be offered with batteries with a range of 484 km and 679 Nm.
VinFast also asked Pininfarina to design the VF e36. It has a more square shape than the VF e35 and has similar LED strips on the front and back, each with a V-shape in the middle. The exterior of the VF e36 also features a particularly intriguing C-pillar design. The cabin has a 15.4-inch multimedia screen, like the VF e35, and is equipped with a Level 3 autonomous driving system.
VinFast VF e35 and VF e36 will be available for pre-order in the first half of 2022, with first deliveries scheduled to begin before the end of the year.
