Voge 500DSX: now a real turenduro

The Chinese manufacturer has expanded its lineup by adding some off-road capability to the 500cc bestseller.

The Voge 500DS crossover, manufactured by Loncin, has found many fans in Europe. One thing was upsetting: this motorcycle is intended exclusively for road tourism, which is clearly hinted at by 17-inch wheels both front and rear.

The Chinese comrades solved the problem quickly: they added the letter “X” to the name of the 500DS and changed the “casting” of the road dimension to an excellent crossover version: spoked wheels with a diameter of 19 “in front and 17” in the rear. The motorcycle is now shod not in asphalt tires, but in Metzeler Tourance universal tires of dimensions 110 / 80-19 and 150 / 70-17, respectively. This adds a full-fledged crossover to the Voge motorcycle lineup for the 2022 season.

The Voge 500DSX will, like the “no-mix” version, come in two versions: regular and Adventure. The latter is distinguished primarily by the presence of a luggage system, consisting of three aluminum trunks. But for some reason the Chinese did not install the protection of the hands / steering levers and the heating of the handles. Well, let’s wait for the 525DSX version with a larger displacement engine – and hope that such useful little things will appear there.
