Volkswagen showed a serial electrocreaser ID.4

The Chinese subsidiary of the company, VW has published a teaser for the electric crossover ID.4.

Volkswagen Group will start production of its first electric car created on the basis of modular electric platform MEB next Monday. The first instance of a hatchback ID.3 is going to roll off the production line at the factory of the brand in Zwickau (China).

As repeatedly said representatives of the automaker, for there were many electric vehicles, including electric crossover ID.4 (name not yet confirmed), which was first announced in 2017. A few months later was presented the concept of I. D. Crozz.

After the official show of the new representative of the electric VW family, which is supposedly scheduled for next spring, ID.4 will be available in about a year.

Meanwhile, the press service brand has published a teaser for a novelty in China, where the production models from the end of 2020. The above-mentioned ID.3 will also be produced at the facilities of the brand in the people’s Republic in a joint venture with the Chinese company SAIC.

Shown here ID.4 is probably the prototype of similar – if not identical – to the one that VW showed in September at the Frankfurt motor show, where the crossover was enclosed in a glass box with very poor lighting. Now we can see the car fully, although the ubiquitous camouflage is still very good for the novelty to disguise the smallest details of its exterior design. Tinted windscreen and camo in the cabin suggest that VW is not yet ready to show the interior of the car.
