President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the introduction of tax holidays in the country. The “economic patriotism” program includes a reduction in the tax burden on businesses and a reduction in the number of inspections.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine Auto with reference to the press service of the President of Ukraine.
As the President stated in his video message, the program is designed to support domestic businesses and stimulate the localization of production in Ukraine.
“Targeted support programs for individual industries. Reducing the tax burden on businesses and limiting inspections. These are incentives for attracting household funds to business and the banking system. Reducing VAT on gasoline and diesel. This will reduce the prices of gas stations. Our goal is to gain an economic independence. Especially in the energy sector,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
On February 23, according to the head of state, he will have a meeting with representatives of the TOP-50 of large businesses. “All of them must stay in Ukraine. Their enterprises are located on Ukrainian soil. Which is protected by our military. Therefore, business must also protect our economy, finances, create jobs. Raise and strengthen Ukraine. Together. Everyone is on their own front.”
