Volkswagen has released the first image of the interior of the second-generation Amarok pickup truck. After updating the model, the interior will become more expensive and premium, but at the same time it will retain the grippy handle on the dashboard and other traditional features.
Earlier it became known that the new generation Volkswagen Amarok will receive a two-row cab with four doors. The design of the front end will seriously change. There will be new LED headlights, a different grille with a thick horizontal bar, fog lights and a redesigned embossed hood.
Given that the new Amarok will share a platform with the Ford Ranger, it will most likely inherit engines and gearboxes from it too. In this case, he will get three diesel units at once: a 3.0-liter V6 and two 2.0-liter engines with one and two turbochargers. In transmissions, most likely, they will offer “mechanics” and a 6-speed “automatic”, and the drive will only be full.
Serial production of the Volkswagen Amarok will begin in 2022. It, along with the Ford Ranger, will be assembled at the Ford plant in South Africa, from where it will be shipped to the US, Europe and other markets. Whether the novelty will appear atn dealers is still unknown.
