The owners of Volkswagen cars with diesel engines affected by the so-called “diesel scandal” have the right to return the VW their cars, demanding the money back. So, decided Monday, may 25, the Federal high court of Germany in Karlsruhe. The amount that the group should return to defrauded customers, however, will take into account the mileage returned by the car, said in court, reports DW.
We are talking about precedent in which the Federal court of justice confirmed the decision made earlier the higher regional court in Koblenz in favor of the owner of a used car a VW Sharan. The Volkswagen group have to pay the customer 25 600 euros plus interest, decided the land court.
