Following the usual Tiguan, Volkswagen has updated the seven-seater version of the crossover, which has the Allspace prefix in the name. The novelty is already available from European dealers of the German brand.
Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace is 22 centimeters longer than the usual Tiguan. Major changes include the Digital Cockpit and the multifunction steering wheel.
An optional 9.2-inch infotainment display, three-zone climate control, adaptive LED headlights and adaptive cruise control can automatically set the speed based on map data.
In Europe, the Tiguan Allspace is available with three engines: a basic 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine with 150 hp. with., working in tandem with a 6-speed “mechanics” or “robot” DSG. The output of 2.0-liter engines is 190 or 245 hp. The diesel lineup is available with a 2.0-liter TDI with boost options for 150 and 200 hp.
Prices for a basic Allspace Life version in Germany start at 36,900 euros. The more equipped Elegance trim is available at a price of 46,720 euros, and the price tag for the sports version of the R-Line starts at 48,510 euros.
