Working on the 2022 VW T7 Multivan, the automaker sought inspiration from its electric ID family. Thus, the popular German van received new optics and a spectacular LED strip that connects the headlights to each other.
There is also a split front grille with a similar mesh pattern as on the ID electric cars. The body of the exhibit was painted in a bright orange-silver color.
The new engine range includes a 1.5-liter 134-horsepower four-cylinder TSI engine, its two-liter 201-horsepower version, and a 148-horsepower diesel engine.
An alternative and more sustainable option is the PHEV eHybrid, which combines a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 148 hp. with a 114 hp electric motor The total power of this hybrid is 215 hp.
The interior of the T7 has also been completely revamped. Inside there is a virtual “tidy”, multimedia with an older touchscreen, a projection display, wireless charging for gadgets and more. An innovative feature is the adjustable table that can be moved from the third row to the front-rear, where it acts as a center console.
Customers can also opt for a panoramic sunroof and a 14-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system.
