The German company updated the Volkswagen Tiguan last year, and it is already on sale in Ukraine. Now the turn has come to an extended version of the crossover, which in Europe is called the Tiguan Allspace.
The dimensions of the restyled cross as a whole remained the same, the length increased by 22 mm due to the redesigned front part. Among the most notable new additions are bumpers in a circle, side skirts, a massive radiator grille with a two-dimensional logo and illumination on the sides, as well as LED matrix headlights and original alloy wheels in sizes from 17 to 20 inches.
Buyers will be able to choose from eight exterior colors, including the new Oryx White and Kings Red Metallic, and four trim levels: Basic, Life, Elegance and R-Line. By default, there is a multifunction leather steering wheel, heated front seats, multimedia with a screen of at least eight inches, access to online services, emergency braking and automatic distance control.
For a surcharge, you can get a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless charging, ventilated front seats and a set of IQ.Drive driver assistants. The suite includes collision warning and autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane tracking, adaptive cruise control, vehicle approach warning while reversing, and pedestrian recognition.
The interior is the same as that of the “short” Tiguan. The “climate” is now controlled via a digital block on the center console, and other physical buttons have been replaced by sensor elements.
All American modifications will be equipped with an uncontested two-liter “four” series EA888 with 184 hp. and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Shipping to US dealers will begin this year.
