The driver, who decided to squeeze through one of the narrow streets of Italy, simply did not calculate the dimensions of a rather large car. Roma reaches 4656 millimeters in length and 1974 millimeters in width: that is, the “two-door” is larger in both parameters, for example, the current Toyota RAV4.
In the footage, an unknown man is trying in vain to help the stuck driver. After that, a woman comes running to the scene of the incident, waving her arms: she probably wants to suggest that the car will definitely not go further. How the situation was resolved is unclear, but it is unlikely that Roma was rescued without scratching the paint.
Introduced in 2019, Ferrari Roma is built on the Portofino platform. Named after the capital of Italy, the coupe received a retro styling and a 3.9-liter V8 that develops 620 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with an eight-band “robot” with two clutches. From a place to the first “hundred”, the supercar accelerates in 3.4 seconds, and the maximum speed exceeds 320 kilometers per hour.
Whether cars got stuck on the street before, especially under the nameplate of the brand from Maranello, is unknown. Bridges are much more “popular” in this regard: in May, the “bridge of stupidity” in the US state of North Carolina caught the 167th victim. The truck managed to get out from under the bridge, but without a roof, which was neatly cut off by a metal structure.
