The mysterious new Bugatti, whose world premiere the company announced a few days ago, will be presented on October 28. And the next teaser raises even more questions than the X-shaped lights in the first image.
In principle, Bugatti did not report anything at all. The text on the image reads What if…?) it is accompanied by the number “0.67”. One option is to hint at the specific mass of the car, that is, the ratio of its weight to the power of the power plant. In this case, if the hypercar will stand 1600-strong W16 8.0, then its mass will be 1072 kilograms. The weight-to-power ratio (WTPR) is also used by GMA to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of the T. 50 coupe. it is equal to 1.5 for Gordon Murray’s creation.
According to rumors, the new Bugatti is a piece-track hypercar, the appearance of which will echo the design of the concept Bugatti Vision Le Mans. It was drawn by Max Lusk, a graduate of the Braunschweig University of the arts, during an internship at the company. A feature of the car will be X-shaped lights and, probably, a fancy aerodynamic body kit.
“Bugatti has been closely associated with Motorsport and aviation for more than 110 years – and early models show clear Parallels with these two areas. This includes open mechanisms, a lightweight design, a good power-to-weight ratio, as well as the first attempts to improve the aerodynamics, ” said recently the President of Bugatti Stephan Winkelmann. What is not a hint of an ultralight hypercar?
