Nissan is preparing to debut the third generation Note. The prototype of the novelties caught photospin two months before the premiere. It is expected that the Note will be slightly wider and lower than its predecessor, will have a more youth appearance with a sloping roof and will retain the petrol-electric powertrain.
The first two generations of Nissan Note had a two-volumetric body and it was believed that the new generation of the Japanese firm will turn the model in microven. However, Nissan chose the opposite strategy: judging from the picture, the “third” Note will be more similar to the classic hatchback with a sloping roof.
Japanese journalists believe that the dimensions will change slightly: the length will remain the same (4100 mm), the width increases to 35 mm to 1730 mm, and height decreased by 20 millimeters to 1,500 millimeters. However, the design will be big changes: the headlights will have, the rear lights will move from a vertical to a horizontal plane and become integral.
As a key market for Nissan Note Japan, the model will retain the power plant e-Power, consisting of an 80-strong atmospheric gasoline engine 1.2, acting as a generator, and electric motor producing 110 horsepower, driving the front wheels. Also remains consistent all-wheel drive hybrid version with electric driven rear axle. The prospects for off-grid Note in doubt.
According to Japanese journalists, the premiere of “third” Nissan Note is scheduled for October 2020. Note the demand for the current generation falls, as the model for eight years, so to delay the sales of new products will not.
