Judging by the “spy” photos, German new Executive class will receive a retractable door handles. The standard S-Class making its debut in 2020, and will go on sale as the new 2021 model year. More luxurious execution of the same car from the Maybach will be presented in a few months.
The German automaker’s engineers are currently testing a prototype of a limousine Mercedes-Maybach S-Class in cool Sweden, and these spy shots allow us to see tested. The photos are perfectly visible retractable car door handle. You can also notice the huge size of the false radiator grille with an array of vertical slats.
Images show that both versions of the same models will be available with a pull-out door handles. Black panels on the doors hide them on some of these photos but more images provide a good close-up, and we can consider these elements in more detail.
It should be noted that the new Executive class will receive a more plush interior than before. The picture shows the interior usual Mercedes-Benz S-Class, there is no doubt that a more expensive version of the sedan from Maybach will be more luxurious trim materials. The driver looks at a large, landscape-oriented digital “tidy”. Another display is in the middle of the center console. The array of buttons at the bottom of the monitor is likely to function as “shortcuts” for the different sections of the menu.
Rumor has it that the updated sedan S-Class will be available with an upgraded version of the 6.0-litre power unit V12 Twin-Turbo. Expect this big engine will be exclusive to the most expensive, luxury versions of the model – such as the Maybach.
