What will the GMC electric pickup look like?

The American company GMC presented on its official resources a sketch of an unknown pickup truck with a blank front panel, thus hinting at the electrical roots of this model. Many are convinced that this is a hint of a new generation of Sierra.

Apparently, the assumptions about involvement in the Sierra family are not unfounded. The features of the upcoming novelty overlap very strongly with the current pickup. It is very difficult to understand the details from a rough sketch, but it seems that the only difference from the current pickup is the absence of a radiator grill, instead of a blank decorative panel.

Most likely, the new product will be nothing more than an analogue of the upcoming Chevrolet Silverado EV, built on the Ultium platform. Some sources already suggest that the car will receive a battery of as much as 200 kWh, and the debut of the new product will take place in 2023.

Recall that the sister Chevrolet Silverado EV will be shown at the CES event. It will begin on January 5 in Las Vegas with Mary Barra personally representing the car. One of the main features of the novelty, the manufacturer calls a huge panoramic roof. The company assures that it is the largest in its segment. In addition, according to their information, it will help increase the range and improve visibility. The Chevrolet Silverado EV was originally slated to enter production by the end of this year, but the timing has shifted somewhat. The model is planned to be produced at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant together with the GMC Hummer EV.
