Alpha Motor startup has unveiled a prototype of the new Saga Estate off-road station wagon.
The Saga Estate is supposed to be powered by an electric propulsion system, and its design is clearly retro-styled. The Saga Estate cross station wagon is positioned as a vehicle for travel and outdoor activities. The volume of the luggage compartment is an impressive 990 liters and, obviously, the measurements were taken not according to the generally accepted standard “under the curtain”, but loading to the ceiling.
The length, width and height of the Saga Estate are 4,850 mm, 1,970 mm and 1,460 mm, respectively. The weight of the station wagon is 2,050 kilograms, despite the fact that all body panels are made of aluminum. The car will be driven by a twin-engine electric power plant, which can accelerate the Estate to 100 km / h in just 6.3 seconds. The power reserve on a single charge is 480 km, and in an hour of charging, the power reserve can be restored by 80%.
17-inch wheels will be provided as standard, which can be increased to 20-inch on request. The basic modification of the novelty looks more like a standard station wagon, but the off-road version adds mud tires, front and rear bumper bars, and six additional LED spotlights. The cost of the car has not yet been announced, but preliminary applications on the official website of the manufacturer can already be left.
