The company, as part of a presentation for investors Hyundai Motor Company, announced its intention to modernize the relatively new Palisade model next year.
The presentation states that the refreshed Palisade will arrive in 2022 and will be joined by the refreshed Hyundai Sonata sedan. It is difficult to say which model will arrive first. There is a possibility that they will appear on the car market at the same time. Two modernized foreign cars will be accompanied by new generations of ix35 and Grandeur. They are probably intended only for the South Korean market.
Hyundai’s roadmap featured in this presentation also confirms the release of the Elantra N in 2021.
Previously, spies saw testing of this model on the Nürburgring track. The model may appear in Europe as well, if there is sufficient customer demand for it. The car could be renamed Avante N. This name denotes a performance sedan for South Korea and Singapore.
In the “Sustainability” section of the roadmap there is also a Mistra EV model. Its appearance is scheduled for the end of this year. This vehicle will be sold exclusively in China. Another China-only electric vehicle will debut next year. This will be followed by a hybrid version of the new Grandeur.
In October and November of that year, Hyundai updated two of its high-performance models. The Santa Fe has received a major redesign that brings the model a new dual-clutch transmission and a luxurious Calligraphy trim level. A month later, Kona and its electric derivative also received updates.
