The first production electric car of the Turkish production will launch at the end of 2022. This was stated by President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
At the ceremony of laying the Foundation of a factory in the province of Bursa, erdoğan had declared that the construction of the plant is planned to be completed in 18 months, and by the end of 2022 pipeline company will do the first production electric car of Turkish origin.
Turkish car 2017 is developed by an industrial conglomerate TOGG, which stands for Turkiye’nin Otomobili Girisim Grubu, that is, the Turkish automotive joint venture. The first prototypes of electric vehicles introduced in December 2019.

The range on a single charge varies from 300 to 480 km, depending on battery capacity. Provides quick recharging for 30 minutes, the battery is given by the factory warranty for eight years.
Total investment in the project TOGG estimated 22 billion Turkish Lira, or about $ 3.7 billion on current KRSU, this money is planned including the construction of a new plant with a capacity of 175 000 electric vehicles per year in Bursa. Gamma TOGG will include five models of different classes. The government intends to purchase 30 thousand electric vehicles until 31 December 2035.
