In the USA, many car owners began to buy gasoline due to its shortage. The owner of a Hummer from Florida decided to stock up on them. He loaded about 80 liters of fuel into the trunk, but did not take it home, and the SUV itself did not get there: there was a fire immediately after leaving the gas station.
The fire brigade arrived at the scene. It took them 20 minutes to completely eliminate the fire, but the vehicle still burned out completely and cannot be restored. What’s most interesting is that it was not possible to establish the cause of the fire.
The photographs show the burnt-out Hummer and what remains of the plastic canisters with gasoline. The driver received several burns.
The US fuel shortage stems from a recent hacker attack on the Colonial Pipeline. Those who manage to get to working gas stations fill up not only a full tank, but also all possible containers brought with them. Unsafe containers are often used, even plastic bags with cans.
