Subaru is renowned for its symmetrical all-wheel drive system, but the brand’s lineup isn’t exactly sleek. This is about to change as Subaru unveils its off-road-focused Wilderness sub-brand on March 30th.
The company has kept the details under wraps, but said that “the next evolution of Subaru’s capabilities is coming, and it is packed with functional technology and solid features both inside and out.” The brand added that fans should “prepare for the next level of adventure.” The first Wilderness variant is expected to be based on the Outback. A forest reserve is to follow later this year.
Spy photographers have filmed Outback Wilderness in the past. It should have a solid body kit, extra ground clearance and unique wheels wrapped in thicker tires.
